The patient underwent specialized neurorehabilitation according to the created individual rehabilitation program (IRP), that included the following sessions:

• Hardware verticalization on a verticalization platform with an estimation of the parameters of the main system and simultaneous16-channel neuro electrostimulation of the muscles of torso and extremities
• Neuro physiology treatment: polymodal simultaneous stimulation : rhythmic transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) with selective electric stimulation of the trunk nerves tracts, photo -impulse bi-chrome stimulation;
• High frequency neuro electrostimulation, carbon electrodes;
• Domestic activization of the patient, adaptation to the sitting position with the legs lowered;
• СРМ therapy;
• Manual therapy with breathing gymnastics;
• Physiotherapy;
• PNF therapy;
• Verticalization session in PIO walking simulator with Guldman lifting support
• Speech therapy massage
• Diagnosis of the musculoskeletal system and neuro-muscular control with S-E-T ;
• Symptomatic pharmacology treatment

The patient in a satisfactory condition terminated the inpatient rehabilitation due to financial reasons, with the following achievements:

• The patient was brought from vegetative state- the consciousness improved from I degree (vegetative state- by Dobrokhotova scale) to IV degree (mutism with understanding of speech), that enables the patient to do basic commands and to make sounds;
• Progressing inner aerosorbative hydrocephaly aggravated with hypertensive liquor syndrome eliminated by making ventrycul eustoma implantation , implantation of the liquor-shunt system with a magnetic controlled valve Sophy®SM8
• Long-term spinal cord compression eliminated and the stability of lower chest and lumbar spine restored;
• Incorrectly consolidated fractures of the both left forearm and left shoulder bones eliminated by surgical intervention, the pathological shortening of the left limb and its deformation eliminated
• Enteral nutrition made possible through duodenal probe
• Purulent endo bronchitis healed; stable remission of chronic infection of urinary tract infection achieved;
• Focal epilepsy with frequent secondary generalized tonus paroxysms pharmacologically compensated
• Bending movements of the right arm and fingers of the left hand achieved, passive mobility of the left elbow joint restored, the volume of passive movements in the joints of extremities increased
• The patient is adapted to the sitting and moving around in a wheelchair , she is being adapted to be in a vertical position;
• The spasticity decreased from 5 degree to 3 degree by Ashworth scale.
• Protein and electrolyte resistant disorders eliminated
• Trophic impairment of the nasal mucosa, bed sores of the nasal passages, upper esophageal sphincter resulted by the long term use of a nasogastric tube eliminated
• Severe central vegetative crisis, hyperhidrosis, hyperthermic syndrome eliminated
• Resistant orofacial automatisms eliminated

Despite the achieved considerable improvements, the patient terminated the treatment & rehabilitation at Nodus and was transferred for further treatment at another medical institution.
